What You’ll Need
- GPS Tracker with relay support
- 12V Automotive Relay
- Wire cutter and stripper

Step-by-Step Installation Guide
Step 1: Locate the Starter Circuit
First, identify your vehicle’s starter wire. This is typically located near the ignition system. Use a multimeter to verify the correct wire – it should show 12V only when starting the vehicle.
Step 2: Install the Relay
Connect the relay according to this wiring scheme:
- Pin 85: Connect to GPS tracker relay output
- Pin 86: Connect to ground/negative
- Pin 87: Connect to starter wire
- Pin 30: Connect to ignition positive
Step 3: Connect GPS Tracker
Connect the GPS tracker’s relay control wire to relay pin 85. This wire will activate the relay when you send engine cut-off commands from the mobile app.
Step 4: Test the Installation
Before finalizing the installation:
- Test engine start/stop from mobile app
- Verify all connections are secure
- Check for any short circuits
- Insulate all exposed wires
